Welcome to my Comfort Bear Gallery. Below you will see some of my favorite bears.

The teddy bears can be made from almost anything. Sweaters, polos, flannels, cotton dress shirts even wedding dresses. Most of them get a stabilizer so that the fabric won't stretch while I am making them. They are stuffed with a fluffy polyester fill.

The eyes can be done with either the buttons from the garment or a color buttons that come close to there own eye color; blue, brown, green, hazel.

There are three sizes; a 15 in, an 18 in, and a 22 in.

Here are what I call "Grampa Bear". They were made from my father-in-law's sweaters and the vest was made from his winter jacket. His name tag was from a work shirt.

If a wedding dress has lost its special meaning, why not make it into something special again.
